At Vanessa nursery we are fortunate to have our own heated swimming pool. The nursery staff are life saver trained and all have training in teaching the basic skills needed to be safe and confident in and around the water. We use the pool to aid physical development as well as delivering other areas of learning while enjoying the warm water.
In addition to our own swimming teaching, external swimming schools offer lessons at Vanessa Nursery after school and during the school holidays e.g. see the International Swimming School news item.
